EDU-202 Children's Literature
Children's Literature is designed to introduce and examine the many genres of children's literature and its uses within a diverse elementary school setting. Students will be introduced to traditional and contemporary children's authors. Students will also consider methods of selecting and evaluating children's books. Group activities and ongoing reading of a variety of children's books is an integral part of this course. This course is designed for students entering the teaching profession and for individuals with and interest in children's literature.
