Getting Started Is Easy
Contact RVC at (815) 921-4250 with any questions regarding these six (6) steps to becoming a College Student.

STEP 1: APPLY

STEP 2: DETERMINE PLACEMENT
Submit ACT results, SAT results, high school transcripts (or GED completion, if applicable) and/or official college transcripts to the RVC Records Office. If required, complete the Accuplacer Exam. Contact the RVC Testing Center at:

STEP 3: MEET WITH AN ACADEMIC, CAREER, &
TRANSFER ADVISOR for registration
To set up an appointment with an Advisor:

STEP 4: APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

STEP 5: MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
Check Student Self Service and/or RockValleyCollege.edu/ImportantDates for due dates.

STEP 6: ATTEND A NEW STUDENT WELCOME EVENT
