EGR-221 Elementary Mechanics of Deformable Bodies
Elementary Mechanics of Deformable Bodies studies, the relationships between external forces and the, stresses and deformations they produce in a,deformable body for both elastic and inelastic, behavior. Consideration is given to members, subjected to tension and compression, torsion,,and bending related to: loading and deflection of,beams and shafts, buckling of columns, repeated, loads, conbimed stresses, analysis of stress and, strain, Mohr's Circle, and related topics.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of
EGR-206,with a grade of C or higher.
