ENG-109 Creative Writing II
Creative Writing II intends to create a community,of serious writers through focused attention to,the close revision of original works for the,purpose of publication and presentation, as well,as engagement in the process and creation of the,campus's literary and visual arts journal,,Voices. The course includes lectures, editorial,discussion and decision-making, and,workshop-based critique of peer-generated work.,Students will compose and/or revise original,works of creative writing, use critical,terminology in the discussion of creative work,,plan and participate in public readings, learn,about current trends and pitfalls in the,publishing world, act as the editorial board of,the campus journal, and submit original work to a,researched regional, national, or international,journal. A minimum of 15 pages of completed work,is recommended. This course may be taken up to 3,times for credit. 0
