ENG-200 Language, Power, and Public Life

Language, Power, and Public Life is an,introduction to rhetoric as an intellectual force,shaping public life. This course studies a,selection of rhetorical theories and introduces,students to key interdisciplinary approaches to,the study of language from the social sciences,,the sciences, and the humanities. Students will,analyze the ways in which language and public,life are interconnected by considering various,historical and contemporary case studies. ,Student write 16-24 pages of revised prose during,the course.
