Interpersonal Communication examines communication between two people, and the impact that skillful interpersonal communication can have on current and future relationships. Students will learn about themselves in regards to communicating interpersonally with others as well as how they present themselves to others. Strategies will be given for communicating effectively in all relationships including family, work, friendships, and romantic relationships. Students will master the concepts of cultural competence, emotional intelligence, active listening, verbal and nonverbal cues, and conflict management.
