The RVC Welcome Center provides assistance regarding campus locations, services, and activities, including:
- Getting Started Days
- Application to RVC
- Student ID issuance (photo ID and current class schedule required)
- Password resets
- Campus lost and found
- Vending refunds (three-day return policy)
- Campus tours
The Admissions and Welcome Center also houses the Student Ambassadors program. Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve on student panels, assist with office support, and represent the College while developing leadership and professional skills.

Academic and Transfer Advisors support students in developing educational goals and personal growth. Students may schedule an appointment or visit during walk-in advising hours.

Career Services and Placement
The Career Services and Placement Office provides employment listings, internship opportunities, job search assistance, career counseling, and general career information. Special attention is given to graduates during all phases of securing employment.

Personal and Success Counseling
The Personal and Success Counseling Office prepares students for learning and personal success throughout life. Services support the growth of the whole person and promote a healthy campus environment.
Students may receive short-term counseling for concerns such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, or other personal challenges. Counseling sessions are confidential. Referrals to community resources are provided when long-term support is appropriate.
This office also coordinates the College Early (Academic) Alert Program.

Disability Support Services
Disability Support Services provides reasonable accommodations for students with temporary or permanent disabilities. Students are encouraged to contact the office as early as possible, as some accommodations require additional implementation time.
Accommodations may include extended testing time, alternative-format materials, sign language interpreters, note-taking assistance, assistive technology, and exam readers. The office also provides campus-wide training related to disability access and compliance.
The RAISE (Raising Aspirations through an Inclusive Student Experience) program is administered through Disability Support Services and supports students with intellectual disabilities in an inclusive postsecondary education environment.

Eagles Nest Food Pantry

The Eagles Nest Food Pantry combats food insecurity by providing free food to RVC students, including GED, ESL, and international students.
Student Support Services promotes retention and graduation for low-income students, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities through tutoring, mentoring, and skill development.
Upward Bound supports secondary school and college completion for potential first-generation college students from Rockford Public Schools District 205, including Auburn and East High Schools.
